About the Village Hall

Weston-on-Trent Village Hall is located in the centre of Weston-on-Trent at the junction of Main Street and Trent Lane. There are facilities for the less mobile including a lift and our accessible toilet includes a baby-changing station.


The village hall is a registered charity (number 520532) managed by a committee of both elected members and members of the groups who regularly use the village hall. 


Kitchen and accessible toilet repaint completed and a new floor is now laid in both the toilets, outside woodwork and Gents toilets are repainted.

CAR PARK IMPROVEMENTS

We have received Funding from East Midlands Airport to tarmac the village hall car park. 


The builders will start on Monday February 9th to give 50 square meters of tarmaced hard-standing for three cars instead of the gravel which cannot be ridden on by mobility scooters or by pushchairs. It will include a pedestrian walkway separate to the vehicle entrance.








 

Facilities

There are two rooms available for rent, both have disabled access and can be used by different groups at the same time:


  • The Upstairs Jubilee room is suitable for meetings and events of up to 25 people, it has a hearing loop installed and a small kitchen.
  • The Main Hall has an excellent dance floor and is more suitable for parties, larger (up to 70) meetings, activities or events. The main kitchen is adjacent with all necessary catering facilities and a large serving hatch through to the hall. 
  • Business Fast Broadband / Wi-Fi is provided. 
  • There is a good sized car park opposite the hall, to the right of the entrance. Please use this to reduce road congestion.
  • We have a piano and our stage can be set-up for a small charge.
  • Please do not park unnecessarily in the car park, as the signs on the gate indicate, it is private and for the Village Hall Users and for parents to drop-off and collect school children - Thanks
