Bookings

Hire charges for Social Events are from £11 per hour for either room (upstairs and downstairs). Discounts are available for certain times of the day and for long term use. The Village Hall Car Park is free for users of the Hall and is situated across the road to the right of the entrance.

Please contact us too if you would like to set-up a one-off community Event, Film Show, Comedy or Musical evening, Craft Fair or just need space for study.

The emergency door in the main hall is for use in emergencies only. This door should not be used as an entry/exit.
Vehicles must be parked in the Village Hall car park and that must be full before vehicles are allowed to park on the road. The car park is for parking only. No ball games or congregating in the car park.
Please keep noise down whilst outside the hall and in the car park in consideration of our neighbours. Ensure guests remain in the hall during the event.
The hall is not licensed for the sale of alcohol. If alcohol sale is proposed the hirer has to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TENS) from S.D.D.C. after referring first to the committee for permission.
Please stack tables and chairs (up to nine high) at the end of the session as indicated.
Please wipe/clean all kitchen surfaces and sinks and ensure that all cutlery and crockery is returned to the cupboards.
Sweep the kitchen and hall floors. Empty bins, bag all rubbish and put in the bins outside, rear. Do not leave bin bags by the side of the bins. We have new eco bins to allow waste to be separated.
Please check the toilets and ensure that all taps and lights are turned off.
Check the immediate area outside the Village Hall door and pick up any litter.
We reserve the right to make an additional charge if the hall is not left in a reasonable condition.
